Kannisto Domestic Animal Farm is a genuine farm where natural field cultivation and early livestock rearing is practised. Kannisto is a popular place for farm tourism and camp schools. It is open around the year and suits perfectly for families.

The farm has plenty of domestic animals, for example lambs, goats, reindeer, pigs, cats, dogs, different birds like a peacock. There are about 12 different breeds of horses and ponies and they have a donkeys as their friend! The cows are representing all the domestic breeds and are used to milking by hand. Many visitors also like to try milking goats, riding, horse driving and taking care of animals.

Kannisto’s home forest is a natural state area, where there are many wild animals. At the back border of the forest there is the rocky Leikkilinna Mountain. It is an ancient, pagan place of sacrifice and there are many giant tales about it. You can go to the Leikkilinna Mountain following the 1,5 kilometres long nature trail.

At Kannisto you can have full board, half board or accommodation with breakfast. The farm is open around the year. There are 80 beds and several cottages in the yard for 2-4 persons each. Programme packages and picnics are also arranged, for larger groups too. The farm is also an excellent place of visit during one day.
